MEMORIE

Memorie is a piece of work made of huge nylon sheets on which it is possible to observe the traces of the entire artistic process. The Memories are the elements through which the narration of the artist’s research is developed. They are tangible proofs of what happened, and they assume the role of immaterial matrix from which a new work is born.
These works lead us to a situation in which memory briefly resurfaces. The trace is what is left over, the necessary channel that connects past and present, evoking past sensations and moments. They are concrete diaries and real testimonies of the artistic rituality, secular “Holy Shrouds” of human work.
