BIO
The artist's research investigates the transmutation of matter through a practice that aims at a place where memory resurfaces at times, leaving unclear sensations and thoughts, born from the mixing of fragments of books read and conversations overheard.
It aspires to a non-place, in search of an indefinite and delimited border that lies between the immaterial and the material as in a sort of limbo where anything can happen, where everything flows and where everything stops.
Painting and installation are the two media that the artist uses in his research, which is strongly determined by the creative process and the relationship that is created between matter and time, between gesture and color. The relationship with matter, that constant dialogue that is created between eye and hand, between tactile sense and visual perception, gives rise to thought which then develops thanks to alchemical and philosophical theories on the void.
Observing her artworks, the spectator is guided to discover the dimension of sublimation and led into a sort of bewilderment, in order to rediscover nothingness, both in the matter and in itself.
